teens experiencing foster care.
Less than one in four youth in foster care enroll in college.
By age 26, just 4 percent of former youth in foster care will successfully obtain a bachelor’s degree.

By the time youth who experienced foster care are 24, only 50%
of them will have stable and steady employment. The same percentage of youth will develop substance abuse.

25% of children and teens experiencing foster care will have a life long struggle with substance abuse and/or debilitating depression and anxiety.
